McFarlane's art pops in this format and I have always been a fan of his art and storytelling. Can be wordy at times, but his visuals are beyond amazing. The last couple of issues included (not the first 13 of "Spider-Man") don't have the same impact, but the art is still nice and they complete the intended collection. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Dominik -- Must-have for early 90's Spidey fanboys like myself. : For me, it was Todd's version that redefined Spidey forever. Never before and after the character was so awesome. Till today I hold any Spider book drawn by him dear to my heart (I even forgive Todd being sort of repetitive in writing department). I was very glad to find this issue being printed and I pre-ordered it without hesitation. McFarlane's Spider-man was the first comic books I bought waaaaay back in the 90's.... & they still hold up. Highly recommend reading, but $95 for 16 comics from the 90's (keep in mind, issue #1 sold 2 million copies) is too much. I paid about $65, which is much more acceptable for a book that only collects 16 issues. ( Reviewed in Canada on October 31, 2017 )
- 3.0 out of 5 stars from Dylan Devaney -- Amazing but price killer ! : Overall for story and art I would give it a 10 out of 10 it's todd mcfarlane you can't say anything but amazing , it's the price point of the book ... it's not worth it at all unless your a major fan for a 16 issues book it's a 35-40$ book max but at a 75-90$ it's only a buy if your major fan . It's a HQ book overall with HQ paper . So overall it's up to you wait till a price drop or buy it used . ( Reviewed in Canada on August 19, 2016 )
